Clive Goldthorpe - Managing Director
After a degree in Economics & Finance, Clive started his financial serices career in 2006 as a paraplanner en route to becoming an adviser and designed paraplanning software with PowerPlanner Solutions co-founder Adam George in 2008. He was a founding director of Thames Valley IFA firm Beaufort Asset Management (2010 to 2023) and was Group COO of Beaufort Group for 9 years from inception (2012), managing technology, operations and compliance for its independent network of 50+ IFAs and DFM managing over £1.2bn shortly before both firms’ successful acquisition by Solomon Capital.
Clive has always enjoyed the technical side and was reported to have been one of the youngest members of the Personal Finance Society to become a Fellow after obtaining Chartered Financial Planner status in 2015. He holds additional qualifications in occupational pensions, mortgages, discretionary investment management and long term care.
Outside of work Clive enjoys rugby, hockey and motor racing albeit time is at a premium given the demands of his two young sons!
Samantha Nicholson - Chief of Staff
Sam joined the business in 2022, having worked with Clive since 2015 for Beaufort Financial. Sam assists with the running of the business and helping firms and staff to achieve the best outcomes. Outside of work Sam mainly enjoys spending time with family and friends, but also enjoys travelling and being by the beach.
Jemimah Smith - Administrator
Jemimah began her career as an Account Manager in the market research industry after completing a BA in Classical Literature and Civilisation. She developed strong client relationship and project management skills before taking a career break to raise her three children. Now returning to the workforce, she is eager to apply her experience and transferable skills to a new opportunity within financial services. Outside of her professional life, Jemimah enjoys hiking, skating, and embracing spontaneous adventures.
Kevin George - Paraplanner
Kevin has worked in financial services since 2016 and plays a key role in relation to assisting firms with suitability reports, reviews and investment research, as well as other tasks. Outside of work, Kevin enjoys sport (especially martial arts), cooking, reading and travelling. Kevin also speaks French, German and Spanish, having studied languages at the University of Southampton.
Isaura Rodriguez – Administrator
Isa has a long history in finance and operations and describes herself as a “happy, enthusiastic and positive person”. She firmly believes in approaching both work and life with a "can do" attitude. She loves cooking and adores animals.
